Photocopy of Flushing Remonstrance, 1657, a declaration of religious tolerance by non-Quaker inhabitants of Town of Flushing to Governor Peter Stuyvesant, protesting Stuyvesant's actions against various religious groups within the colony of New Netherland. Testimony approved at a quarterly Quaker meeting at Flushing, 1675.
